POLICIES
RESERVATIONS ALL reservations -To confirm a reservation we require a valid credit card number with expiry date. -We do not take room deposits (in most cases) and payment can be made by your preferred means on arrival. -Payment of one night's accommodation by cash or cheque can also be accepted to hold a reservation.
RV Reservations -Our RV Park is compact, with just 10 sites. We have a maximum of 32ft for reservations. Larger vehicles may be accommodated on a walk-in basis, subject to availability. Please call ahead for information. -Sites do not include tow vehicle parking except in the case of smaller trailers. Additional parking is provided at the end of the RV park, or on the street. -Tents welcome, please note proximity to Hwy #3 and limited shade. -In addition to the above details we require details of your RV. Please advise:
Overall parked length (including hitches.)
Type of vehicle – travel trailer, motorhome, 5th wheel etc.
Any slides or awnings that will require additional space.
If pull-through access is required. Please note that we have limited pull-through sites available.
Advance Booking Discounts Discounts are available when the accommodation is booked and paid for at least 14 days prior to arrival.

For cancellation with at least 14 days notice, a full refund will be provided less a $15+HST cancellation fee.
Adjusting your reservation after arrival -We are happy to adjust your reservation on arrival to a different room type or a longer or shorter stay, subject to availability. -In all cases where the final balance is less than that booked, a minimum of 25% of the full booked/quoted amount will be payable which may be more than the accommodation used.

Group and Long Stay Cancellation Policy -For reservations of 5 or more rooms a 25% deposit is required to hold the reservation. -No penalty for group cancellations where more than 30 days notice is provided. -For cancellations within 30 days of arrival the deposit will be retained and the motel reserves the right to rebook the rooms without refund.
OTHER POLICIES
Check in & Check out -Check in is 3pm – Midnight for the Motel & RV Park. -Check in outside of these hours is by prior arrangement only. -Check out is 11am
Payment -We accept cash, US cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. -In the case of check out without payment, the unpaid balance will be charged to the credit card provided on arrival, including any phone charges. -For cash and debit payments, room account must be paid in full on arrival and a credit card pre-authorisation provided in the amount of $100. If you do not have a credit card, a cash or debit deposit may be provided and will be refunded on check out, providing the room is left in good condition and all keys are refunded and any extra charges covered. Deposit amount varies depending on room type, number of guests and length of stay. Minimum $50.
Lost keys
-A charge of $15.00 is applicable for any missing key not returned to us within two weeks. -If you find you have left with a key, please drop it in any mail box. Postage is covered.
PETS Sorry, we do not accept cats. -Well behaved dogs are welcome at the Snow Valley Motel. -Dogs are charged at $5 per night per dog plus taxes for small (under 20lb) dogs and $10 per night per dog plus taxes for medium and large dogs. -A credit card pre-authorisation of $100 will be taken on arrival and a pet waiver must be signed. -Dogs must not be allowed on the furniture or beds or in the Hot Tub area. -If dogs are to be left in the room while you are away, they MUST be placed in a crate and a contact cell phone number must be left with the front desk in case of any barking issues. Rooms with crated pets will not receive housekeeping service. -Dogs must be leashed at all times on Motel property and within the City of Fernie. You are required to clean up after your dog. -Charges will apply for any damage to rooms or Motel property; any disturbance to other guests including any necessary reimbursements for unhappy guests; any antisocial pet behaviour or excessive barking, dogs left in rooms unattended/without crates and may result in possible eviction without refund.
