most spectacular and beautiful vacation destinations in all of British Columbia.  At

Fernie & the entire Elk Valley, home of world famous "Fernie Alpine Resort" - with

an average of 29ft of fluffy powder snow per year and top rated bike trails - is a

wonderful place to take a vacation, a weekend getaway or a family reunion. Fernie

is a prime location for hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, golfing, skiing, artistic

pursuits, snowmobiling & sightseeing and offers wonderful events and

entertainment throughout the year. Historic Fernie is graced with wonderful heritage

buildings and friendly locals and boasts a rich history full of legends and pioneering

spirit that you will find evident in recently refurbished and cheerful downtown sector.

The Snow Valley Motel & RV Park has made extensive renovations in the summer of 2003 and lots of upgrades in Fall 2008 creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere which is reflected in our spacious Family Suites. Equipped with full kitchen facilities and sleeping up to 7 people these have already become a very popular addition. Our Rustic Cedar wood Kitchenettes and Standard Rooms comfortably sleep 4 people, with 5th person option. Rooms have a combination of double, double extra-long, queen and twin beds. Optional double and queen hide-a-bed sofas available - all new in 2008. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, personal heat thermostat, microwave, fridge, in room coffee, Cable TV, complimentary wireless internet & phone.

If you don't have your laptop with you, take advantage of our high speed internet service area for a small fee or enjoy a self cooked meal on our summer BBQ deck over looking the beautiful Lizard Range home of the famous Fernie Alpine Resort followed by a relaxing soak in our 8 person indoor cedar wood Hot Tub where you can enjoy the view of our aquarium.

We are pleased to also offer Fernie's only RV Park with 10 sites available

in summer on nightly, weekly or monthly basis and 6 in winter for seasonal

stays. In summer we offer 30amp power and water hookups in all of our

sites and sewer facilities for 2 sites with on-site washrooms and showers

at no extra cost. Winter sites have 30amp power and use of a shared

winterised water fill point and use of the heated washrooms and showers.

Our compact sites with picnic tables have a 32ft maximum and offer the

convenience of walking distance to Fernie's  many amenities and

restaurants. Some pull through sites available. We welcome tent campers.

Please note adjacent highway which is reasonably quiet at night.
